Open to all. It's time to raise our painted lady butterflies again! Visit us often to watch as our caterpillars grow, morph, and emerge as beautiful butterflies. Our live caterpillars arrive in early May, and they will develop over the course of two weeks. We will release them on a good-weather day when they are ready, so check with us for details!
Open to ages 3-6; children must be accompanied by an adult. Miss Debbie uses the latest books and some old favorites to help introduce new vocabulary and reinforce learning. Children and their caregivers will enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, and movement while building language and literacy skills.
Open to all ages. Registration requested. The chess club is meant to foster scholars' intellectual growth while having fun. We will be playing chess and holding club tournaments. Members will not only be able to interact with one another through learning the game, but will be able to coach each other into becoming better chess players. If you have any interest in playing chess, this club is for you!

Suggested for ages 6 months-2 years, and their parents. Registration required. Bring your child to enjoy songs, puppets, fingerplays, simple crafts, snacks & of course, books! Please advise staff of any food
Open to ages 5-12. Registration requested. Tips and tricks in gardening. Celebrate Earth Day by volunteering along with Master Gardeners, as they instruct on how to take care of the gardens outside. Join in the fun of planting the memorial pots that welcome readers to the Library. Credit given for volunteer hours. Rescheduled if inclement weather.
